iOS 17 Beta 7 has been released. Apple has reorganized the layout of the call screen, which was complained about in the previous version. Here are the details.
Apple has accelerated its work on the developer version of iOS 17. The company, which has been testing iOS 17 with beta versions ahead of the launch scheduled for September, shared another update in the past few hours. With the iOS 17 Beta 7 package, the "End Call" button has once again changed its position.
Features and Bug Fixes in iOS 17 Beta 7 Apple has released the seventh beta version of iOS 17. The new package, distributed to iOS 17 users registered in the Developer Beta, is a relatively small update. However, it implements a critical design change in the beta software.
The most significant change in iOS 17 Beta 7 appears to be the redesign of the keypad layout during calls. By moving the "End Call" button to the center bottom of the keypad, Apple has changed its controversial position from the previous beta version.
The new beta also fixes the issue of the mute switch being accidentally disabled in the previous version. Beta 7 restores the tactile feedback of the mute switch.
It should be noted that Beta 7 addresses previous complaints with these changes. Aside from the call screen modification, there doesn't seem to be any other new features included.
iOS 17 is expected to be announced in September and distributed by the end of the year. As the time for its public release approaches, there might be fewer updates in the beta versions.
Previous beta packages had introduced various features to iMessage and FaceTime. However, it appears that Apple's focus is now on bug fixes.
