Twitter: Restricted reach posts will start to have labels

Twitter is preparing for another update. Tweets with limited reach due to potential hateful conduct will now have explicit indication for the authors to be aware of what they are posting and possibly contest the decision.

Twitter users, when making posts, expect to reach as many people as possible, but there are posts that do not seem to have the desired reach. Changes will be made to the social network to make restricted reach more noticeable.

Therefore, when Twitter detects a tweet that may violate the policies of "hateful conduct", the reach of the post is limited and a label is applied that says "Limited visibility: this tweet may violate Twitter's rules against hateful conduct." The company plans to expand the labels to include more types of policy violations in the coming months.

This measure is intended to give the authors of posts that may have limited reach the opportunity to evaluate what they have written. More than that, so they can contest Twitter's decision if they deem the limitation unfair.

This is because, according to the shared information, Twitter is aware that there are posts that are misidentified.

Therefore, after the author's objection, the tweet will be evaluated and the reach restriction will be maintained or removed.
