South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol has called on billionaire
Elon Musk to invest in his country.
During his 6-day visit to the United States, South Korean
President Yoon Suk Yeol met with Elon Musk, owner of SpaceX space company, in
Washington DC. According to a statement made by the South Korean official news
agency regarding the meeting, Yoon stated that South Korea is an ideal country
for Tesla to establish a factory and that the meeting request came from Musk.
Yoon also reportedly offered tax incentives if Musk were to invest in the
country.
Elon Musk stated that South Korea is one of the best countries
for establishing a Tesla factory and that he plans to visit the country soon.
Meanwhile, during his visit
to Washington, South Korean President Yoon Suk-Yeol also met with US President
Joe Biden yesterday.
