Elon Musk Backs Down on "Blue Check" Issue

Elon Musk, the owner of Twitter, one of the world's most widely used social media platforms, has backed down on the "blue check" decision. Blue ticks were returned to accounts with over 1 million followers. Last year, the US-based social media giant Twitter was acquired by famous entrepreneur Elon Musk. After Musk's acquisition, radical changes were made to the platform. The most notable of these changes was the "Blue Check".

The blue tick feature, which is used to represent verified and authenticated accounts on Twitter, had started to be sold for a fee with Elon Musk's decision. Many famous figures had reacted to this decision. Now, Elon Musk has reversed this decision.

BLUE TICKS HAVE BEEN RETURNED

Since Sunday evening, Twitter has returned blue ticks to users who have not paid.

According to Euronews, Twitter has returned the blue tick to all accounts with over one million followers.

According to BBC, the return of the blue tick for accounts with less than 1 million followers is "at the discretion of Elon Musk."
